Jayson was born and raised in western North Dakota on a family farm. He is a 1971 graduate of Minot State University with a degree in Medical Technology. He graduated from Western College of Auctioneering in 1980, and entered the auction business full time in 1985. He became a licensed Realtor in 1990 and obtained his Broker license in 1993. He is currently partners with his son Kyle in the family owned United Country Shobe Auction & Realty.
Jayson is an active member of Zion Lutheran Church, Lewistown Rotary, and the Lewistown Area Chamber of Commerce.
Professionally, Jayson is a member of the Montanan Auctioneers Association, the National Auctioneers Association, Lewistown Board of Realtors, Montana Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
Jayson and his wife, Debby, have 3 grown children, son Kyle and wife Jodie, son Justin and wife Julie, daughter Kari Beth and husband Whit and three wonderful grandchildren.
When not selling auctions or real estate, Jayson enjoys attending rodeos; calling square dances and listening to his sons play in their country band.

Kathy was born and raised in Southwest Montana on her family’s farm, located 75 miles west of Bozeman, Montana, where she helped operate their irrigated hay, barley and potato farm. She was active in 4-H for many years as a member and as a 4-H leader. Graduating from Carroll College in 1986, Kathy married her husband Doug and began a career in Health Care which lasted for 20+ years.
With Doug and their two children, Kurtis and Kristin, Kathy moved to Lewistown Montana in 2006. She received her real estate license and joined United Country Shobe Auction & Realty in 2007 to continue her passion in providing honest, trustworthy & professional service to the public. Raised on a cattle ranch in SE Montana, Dave graduated from Montana State University with a degree in Agricultural Education. After a term of service in the US Army as a helicopter pilot and aircraft maintenance officer, he served as a County Extension Agent for Montana State University for 30 years.
Of that 30 years, 22 were spent in central Montana, working with ranchers and farmers on issues related to wheat and barley production, beef cattle production, weed management, range and pasture management, soils and soil fertility management, farm and ranch management, and integrated resource management.
Over the years, he has worked with hundreds of families associated with the 4-H/youth development program. He has a vast and in-depth knowledge of agricultural production and marketing in central Montana, an area that relies heavily on agriculture as the base of the economy. He is called on to consult on agricultural production and management issues, and to mediate lease agreements.
After retiring from MSU Extension in 2013, Dave joined Shobe Auction and Realty in Lewistown, MT, so he could continue to serve ranchers and farmers. He is skilled at analyzing production capabilities and income generating opportunities on central Montana farms and ranches.
He has lived in central Montana since 1983 and is active in many aspects of the community including the hospital board, Leadership Central Montana and Kiwanis. He and his wife, Cathy, have been married for 44 years. The have two grown children and two grandchildren. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, gardening, and visiting new places around the country.
Besides conducting auctions with United Country Shobe Auction & Realty, Kyle also sells cattle on a regular basis at several livestock markets in Montana, includeing Lewistown Livestock Auction. In 2010, he won the World Livestock Auctioneer Championship at the Oklahoma National Stockyards in Oklahoma City. He is also a PRCA rodeo announcer, working key rodeo events such as Cheyenne Frontier Days in Wyoming. His country music band, "Kyle Shobe & the Walk 'Em Boys" is popular around Montana and the surrounding states, playing at fairs, fundraisers, weddings and community events. Kyle provides complete auction services for purebred livestock auctions, and through Shobe Auction & Realty, he assists with auctions ranging from farm & ranch equipment sales to western art and real estate auctions. In addition to working as an auctioneer in the field, Kyle shares his auction knowledge and expertise of the business as an instructor at Western College of Auctioneering in Billings, Montana. Kyle is a former President of the Montana Auctioneers Association and is a member of the National Auctioneers Association, National & Montana Associations of Realtors, the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, Livestock Marketing Association, Montana Angus Association, Montana Red Angus Association and the Montana Stock Growers Association. Born and raised in Petroleum County. 1985 graduate of Winnett High School. Earned a Clerical Office Certificate from the Vocational Technical Center in Billings. Married for 24 years and been a part of the Kiehl family ranch for 23. Very active on the ranch which is primarily cattle and sheep. Raise our own feed on the irrigated portion of our ranch. Have a successful outfitting business (Flat Willow Creek Outfitters) that we pride ourselves in game management. Our daughter Cassie is currently pursuing a dental hygienist degree and our son Preston is enrolled at MSU Bozeman in the Pre-Vet program. I have been involved in Real Estate since 1999.
